Windowsill Gardening with Joannée DeBruhl

Microgreens and sprouts are easy to grow and perfect to grow in a window. Joannée DeBruhl, who is passionate about organic farming, will show how to set up a windowsill garden so you can grow some tasty greens in just one to two weeks.

Pick up a Garden in a Bag kit from either library while supplies last, and watch the live program to learn how to start your garden.

The bag will contain black oil sunflower seeds, soil, and printed instructions. Participants will also need three small shallow containers (like plastic or plastic foam egg carton tops or plastic to-go containers) and a windowsill wide enough to hold the container, or a counter or table near a window. The temperature needs to be at least 60 degrees or warmer.
