Vinyl Cutting Lab

Willard Library now offers a Vinyl Cutting Lab. It is located in the Creative Space on the main floor at Willard Library. The Silhouette Cameo 3 is an electronic cutting machine for light-duty, creative use. It uses a small blade to cut materials up to 12 inches wide. It can be used for vinyl lettering, window cling designs, scrap-booking, custom apparel, and card making. The library offers courses to help you get started.

Weeding Tools

The computers in the lab are designated for vinyl crafting projects.  Please use them for research and design of vinyl projects.  Silhouette Studio is the software used to design projects for the Cameo 3 electronic cutter.


There are flash drives available to transfer designs from the computer to the Cameo 3’s.  Place vinyl sheets on a mat before loading it into the electronic cutter.  They are equipped with the standard blade.

There various weeding tools available to use. Each bag contains scissors, 3 scrapers, an angle tool, a metal spatula, a weeder, and tweezers.
