Super Tuesday: Air Zoo

Learn more about the ocean with staff members from the Air Zoo! Explore a variety of sea creatures, who call the ocean home; experiment with buoyancy and locomotion techniques; and create a marine critter to take home. Also, learn about the Earth’s limited water resources and how to protect these resources as we find out just how important the oceans are for our future. This program is geared for school-age children and their families.

Battle Creek Pride Festival

Join Willard Library and the entire community at Leila Arboretum for the 2022 Pride Festival, a celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex culture and pride in Battle Creek. This annual event brings LGBTQ community members, LGBTQ businesses, allies, and organizations together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging. This year's festival includes local vendors, food trucks, live music, entertainment, giveaways and other fun.

Be sure to visit Willard Library's children's activities center with free books, games, and face painting.

Ocean Adventures for Mermaids and Pirates

Ahoy Mateys and Mermaids! Preschoolers may drop in and join Miss Chelsea and Miss Nicole for an exciting mermaid and pirate adventure. Little ones will have fun making mermaid and pirate crafts. In addition, they may follow a treasure map to find a fun treasure. Participants may drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and noon.
