A look at what's happening at Willard

Monthly Caregiver Conversations

Anne Clark, left, and Linda Grap, of Senior Health Partners, will lead theCaregiver Conversations.
Willard Library and Senior Health Partners in Battle Creek are teaming up to present Caregiver Conversations, a series of monthly programs on caregiving.

"We hope people will find comfort in knowing they're not alone by listening to experiences of fellow caregivers and learning strategies from experts," Michael McCullough, Willard community engagement and local digital collection librarian, said.

Linda Grap and Anne Clark, both of Senior Health Partners, will lead the conversations. Staff from CareWell Services will participate on the panel, as well.

"About a quarter of our district's residents are age 60 and older, and as our community ages the need for caregiver resources will grow as well," McCullough said. "The library offers a safe place for caregivers and potential caregivers to build community and learn more about the resources available to them."

The programs, which began in November, will be from 2-3:30 p.m. at Willard, 7 W. Van Buren St.
