How to Get a Library Card
To qualify for a free library card, you must reside or pay property taxes within the school district boundaries of Battle Creek, Harper Creek, Lakeview, or Pennfield public schools.
Visit either library location with your current photo ID (Michigan Driver’s License, ID Card, or school ID) to get your library card. If your current identification does not list your local address, we can use a current utility bill, lease agreement, insurance paperwork, or school records.
Do you reside outside of our service district? A paid card is available to guests who live in a county that borders Calhoun County. Paid cards are $150/year per household.
Not sure if you have what you need to get a card? Give our Circulation Department a call and we can help! 269.968.8166 ext 512.
