Willard Library’s Reading is Everything campaign is a community-wide initiative designed to spark excitement around reading for all ages and abilities.
Reading goes beyond words on a page; it shapes how we learn, communicate, problem-solve, and navigate the world, making it an essential skill for lifelong success. It also supports well-being, empathy, and self-understanding. Reading can even help us feel less alone, relieve stress, and improve our sleep.
Through this campaign, we aim to encourage reading as a lifelong activity and build strong literacy habits through interactive outreach including billboards, posters, videos, and more.
We need your help to spread the word! Yard signs will be available at both library locations, beginning May 15 while supplies last. Choose between a “Reading is Everything” sign, or the “Reading is” sign, which you can then personalize with a word describing what reading means to you.
You’ll see Reading is Everything around town on billboards and on social media. Be on the lookout for other opportunities to join us in highlighting how reading impacts every part of our lives.
Reading is everything, and it is for everyone. Come join us in the Reading Revolution!
